DR. ADEDEJI TAJUDEEN ADELEKE

THE PHILANTHROPIST: DR. ADEDEJI TAJUDEEN ADELEKE

It all began with the quest for a young man who always knew his destiny was to touch as many lives as possible and this prompted him to always look for a way to torch the live of all who came in contact with him. The philanthropic of Dr. Adedeji T. Adeleke traces back even before the establishment of Springtime Development Foundation (SDF) a non-profit making, non-governmental organization. The birth of SDF was to harness and account for his philanthropic deeds.
SDF had its seed sowed in 1995 as a result of his attendance of the world General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church held in Utrecht, Netherlands between June and July 1995. The General Conference meeting is always held after every five (5) years and has in attendance spiritual leaders and members of the SDA Church. Such was the case of this dedicated couple, Dr.AdedejiAdeleke and his beloved late wife, Dr. (Mrs) Veronica Adeleke who were attending the General Conference of our Church for the first time, and who became the sponsors and donor of SDF. The Adelekes were torched by listening to the challenging soul winning report of a lay church member in massive support of God’s work in his part of the world field. Therefore to assist our churches in Nigeria meet up with the set goals of soul winning as against the set targets to be reported at the General Conference of 2000 which held in Canada.
